Our condo is situated so close to the ocean that when you first open the door, it seems as though you could dive right in. So close in fact that your favorite pastime might just be kicking back on the lanai, relaxing to the soothing sound of the surf, and enjoying some of the most scenic vistas Hawaii has to offer!

Here you can view marine life right from our lanai, including humpback whales in season and sea turtles frolicking directly in front of the property year round. You can also enjoy easy access to swimming or snorkeling right in front of the property via the adjoining beach, or just relax by the oceanfront pool and revel in the scenic views of Molokai and Lanai right offshore.

Our remodeled condo brings the tropical ambiance indoors through the extensive use of bamboo materials, porcelain "travertine" tile floors, tropical themed ceiling fans and fixtures, and louvered doors. This second floor unit has expansive vaulted ceilings, which creates an abundance of natural light and ventilation, and privacy from its end unit location.

The remodeled kitchen features granite countertops, custom maple cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and an ultra quiet dishwasher, and is fully equipped for when you would rather dine in.

Our living room and kitchen feature a direct view of the Ocean and the island of Molokai, which is all the more grand once you step out onto our balcony, or "lanai" as we say here in Hawaii.

In the bedroom, you will find a new Cal King-Sized Bed and 100% Organic Cotton Blackout Curtains, and in our remodeled bathroom, a walk in shower and high quality fixtures.

Extra sleeping accommodations in the living room include your choice of two Twin-sized Murphy beds, or our pull-out double-size sofa bed.

For your entertainment, there's a 32" LCD Flat Screen TV, Blu-Ray Disc Player, iPhone/iPod compatible stereo, and free wireless internet access.

To minimize its impact on the environment, our unit is equipped with a solar attic fan, tankless water heater, energy star appliances, and energy efficient lighting and ceiling fans.

Our condo is conveniently located midway between the Ka'anapali and Kapalua resort areas, just a 10-15 minute drive from most any West Maui attraction. On foot, it is just one minute away from the Honokowai Farmer's Market, a fantastic organic food store, with adjacent neighborhood coffee shop, and many more restaurants and shops, close by. Right next door to Hale Kai is Honokowai Beach Park, an expansive open space featuring a recently upgraded playground area and shallow tide pools, perfect for the little ones.

Rates for this unit are based on two occupants, (additional $15/night/person), and also vary depending on season, length of stay, and whether booked at the last moment.   Just came back from 2 weeks at a great condo located steps from the ocean & pool. Local coffee shop & dining options close by as well as a food truck park! The condo was comfortable & had 2 Murphy beds as well as the separate bedroom & a mezzanine for extra guests.
  Coming from a quiet countryside home, we did find the road noise along with the waves a bit difficult to sleep through. It was very windy some nights
  There’s no air conditioning but every wall has louvered windows as well as ceiling fans for the constant ocean breeze.
  All in all it was a great place to kick back & enjoy the amazing view of the ocean & so many turtles right out on the reefs. Beat turtle viewing that we’ve seen on Maui. On calmer days the reefs offer great snorkeling.
  Only recommendation would be some Tommy Bahama beach chairs for use & possibly a newer (firmer) bed in the bedroom & more comfortable couch.

  This was our 2nd time at Hale Kai and we would definitely return again. The homes are spacious, clean and well maintained. Wake up to the sound of the ocean, watch dolphins go by, hang out by the pool or use their communal BBQ area. Great location with coffee shops and groceries across the street, short walk to Dukes, and bike ride to Napili Beach or Whalers Village.

  The condo was very comfortable and had all the necessary kitchen items we needed and was clean. Originally we were going to be a party of four, but due to a family illness 2 were not able to come. Had they come there wasn't a second set of bedding for one of the murphy beds and there wouldn't have been enough towels. We had no problems connecting to the internet and the cable had a good variety of channels. This was not our first time staying at Hale Kai, but it was our first time in 213. I'm aware that the HOA requires that the units use the low flow shower heads, but from a person with curly hair the amount of pressure from the shower took a long time to rinse my hair thus doesn't make sense to have if I need to be under the shower head longer to get the shampoo out of my hair. The kitchen sink and the bathroom sink had adequate water flow.

The location was perfect and easy to get around to everything we wanted to do. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. With the park on one side and a small beach on the other, you just can’t go wrong here! Can’t wait to go back.

  We have stayed at Hale Kai before in a different unit. It’s in a great location: away from the big resorts, right on the ocean, one of the smaller properties with a pool. There are good restaurants within walking distance. The view is wonderful! We’ve been in 218 which we think is one of the best units. 203 was also good as there were a lot of extra beach things. 213 was okay but a pricier unit because it’s a corner but there was a lack of beach things. The kitchen is awkward and the bed is really uncomfortable.

  We stayed for six nights in this unit, we have been to Hale Kai before. This unit was good and although some things were more updated, there were some bugs the last few days. I totally expect some bugs but last time we saw absolutely none. But it didn't ruin our vacation, Hale Kai is in a great locations, close to farmers market and Kick *** Coffee, on the beach, has a pool, turtles on the beach and in the water, we saw whales in the distance, ABC is down the street. We were charged extra for one of the kids which I feel the unit sleeps four so you should not be charged extra if you have more than two people. So Canadian it ended up costing me an extra $175 for my daughters friend.

  Great place! Great price! Great location! We’ve stayed here for a week. Very clean place, close to grocery shopping and beautiful beaches. It has small beach 100 steps from your door, so you can take late night swim and kids can play on the beach any time:). Good management. We’ve stayed during hurricane Lane warning, management well prepared us with all the information about evacuation options and how to prepare for the worst case. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The only thing I would suggest owner is to change mattress in the bedroom. Matress seemed old and will really affect quality of your sleep and your back, especially if you have “bad” back. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the great experience.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Hale Kai 213. The property staff were wonderful and the family atmosphere was so enjoyable!Mostly quiet at night with just a tiny bit of traffic noise through the night. (Air conditioning would be a plus for the hot July days.) It was very convenient having the twin Murphy beds and being able to have them out of the way in the daytime. The kitchen was beautiful and had just about everything we needed to cook our own meals (except the food!). The bathroom shower was a generous size, but it would be nice to have a little more room for the toiletries of three to four persons. Overall it was a great unit, awesome location and being able to look out directly over the ocean was priceless; the pool was sparkling clean and pleasant temperature. Just a few items keep this unit from being 5-star: 1. - the king bed mattress really needs to be replaced (along with the lampshade in this room); 2. - the sofa is not comfortable to sit on at all!; 3. - the lanai furniture could use some fixing up (maybe cushions or just totally replace?). We would recommend Hale Kai to family and friends (if they don't need a unit with air conditioning!).

  Overall we truly enjoyed our stay here. There were a couple of maintenance issues with the unit while we were there, that were not addressed during our stay, but they did not stop us from being able to enjoy our stay. The unit wasn’t very well swept when we arrived but otherwise was in decent condition. For the price point it was a good choice and the view was absolutely amazing. Could be noisy from traffic but was ok during the night time when trying to sleep.

  We loved the location and view from the lanai. The people were friendly and Valerie was very helpful and welcoming. The island breeze kept the condo at good temperature. The traffic from the main road was mostly quieter at night and we opened the bedroom door so we could hear the ocean. Hale Kai is is within walking distance of a farmers market and a fish market, so we ate fresh fruit and grilled fish on the clean gas grill. I would definitely stay here again.

  This condo #213 is amazing. Stepping in the front door you immediately get the ocean view, waves, Molokai in the distance. The unit has everything you need to settle in and start relaxing. Steps away is the pool and a few steps further you are on the beach. The area has welcoming locals, and thee is a true sense of family. BBQ at the grills and watch sunset after sunset day after day. The Condos are close enough to everything as well. Local farmers market and shops...park right next door...you can’t go wrong.

  Fantastic complex right on the beach. Loved the unit we were in, it is a generous size, had a comfortable bed and modern fully equipped kitchen. However, it did look a little tired and is badly in need of some furniture upgrades. A deep cleaning would resolve many of the grubby edges like a buildup of gunk on the shower rails etc. Every place needs a thorough cleaning at least once a year.
  The living room and lanai furniture are very uncomfortable and long past their usefulness. The couch in the living room is probably the hardest, lumpiest, most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat it. It badly needs to be re-upholstered or replaced. Same for the ancient chair. The lanai chairs seem comfortable for the first hour, then the vinyl strips warm up and stretch, and your butt falls through. All easily fixed by replacing them and if done I would book this unit again in a heartbeat. Uncomfortable furniture is definitely an annoying issue - I'd encourage the owner to address that immediately.

  Our family of three loved our stay in Hale Kai 213. The condo was just as the pictures show... tastefully updated, clean, comfortable and the view was beautiful! Our three year old son thought the murphy beds and swimming pool were great. The beach was small, but convenient. We saw sea turtles swimming around everyday. We enjoyed sipping our morning coffee or having drinks and dinner in the evening on the lanai. There is a farmers market grocery store convienently located across the street (try the açaí bowls) and several small restaurants nearby (the fish market was our favorite). We would definitely stay in this condo again and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Maui!

  This was our 3rd time staying in 213 at Hale Kai. We love it and we plan on returning. This condo is very nicely updated with granite countertops and tile flooring. The king size bed is very comfortable. We spend most of our time on the lanai enjoying the gorgeous views and sunset dinners. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Walking distance to farmers market, coffee shop and several places where we got great tacos and breakfast burritos. Hale Kai has a clean, convenient laundry room and Valerie in the office is very kind and helpful. The pool is great, we love meeting the other folks visiting and enjoy seeing the permanent residents each time we return. We are not high rise resort fans so Hale Kai is a perfect fit for us.

  It was our 35th wedding anniversary. We went there with great expectations and the place exceeded them. We found turtles 25 feet off the beach on the rocks eating the Kelp it was awesome.! We will stay there again the next time we come. We went to the Westin to get a massage and that place is to commercial and to plastic.

  The rental was as spotless and just as pictured on website. Staff was very helpful and the location great- close to stores and short drive to nearby beaches. I love the upstairs balcony with the ocean/sunset view! The only thing is the hot afternoons due to west exposure (how else would you see sunset though!). We would leave for couple hours in the afternoon when it got hot. Overall it was fantastic!

  We have stayed at many vrbo and HomeAway rentals. This may be our favorite. The views of the ocean and surrounding islands was breathtaking. We woke up each morning and enjoyed our coffee with that view. Pool was clean and great temp. Walking to park and shops was fun and not touristy. Road to Hana was fantastic, visiting Haleakala was amazing. We loved Maui and would love to come back. Our only complaint of the whole week was that the living room couch was not comfortable, but who cares, we spent most of our time on the Lanai, pool, park and ocean. Great rental. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

  This is a great place to stay. Everything was just like the pictures, the view is amazing! The pool is great, little beach area is perfect and the sea turtles are awesome!   We absolutely loved our stay at Hale Kai #213. The view was incredible and everything described on the website was spot on. The pool was not crowded, the beach was beautiful and it was really neat to see the sea turtles hanging out in the ocean. The people in the management office were super helpful and kind, and the other guests that we met were really nice and shared vacation tips with us. There is a great coffee shop and farmers market within walking distance, and it is close to Lahaina and Kaanapali beach. The location is perfect. We will definitely be staying here again.

  Absolutely loved this condo rental. Amazing ocean views and spent most evenings on the Lanai watching the sunset over the water. Exactly like the pictures - very clean, good amount of space (was just two of us) and had all the kitchenware we needed (would need to bring your own condiments though). Pool area was nice and quiet when we were there and lovely small sandy beach right beside where we saw turtles on our last day. Grocery store and beach equipment rental just across the road. Road traffic can be heard from bedroom so bring earplugs if light sleeper and like to lie-in (wasn't an issue for us). Valerie in the office was very responsive on pre trip emails and a great help when we were there. Looking forward to staying again when we next make it back to Maui.

  The view and the proximity to the ocean were exactly as described in the rental ad - lovely! Really enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai and watching the turtles in the surf. There were really only 2 disappointments in our stay - beach equipment was almost non-existent- only able to access one chair, a mat and an umbrella. Had to rent chairs and boogie board. The living room furniture is VERY uncomfortable (sofa was AWFUL)but the bed was good. I would have liked more items in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, oil and other spices as well as some cleaning items for the bathroom. Overall, I would still recommend this to others and would book again, hopefully with more comfortable living room furniture!

    Aloha Larry, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're glad that you enjoyed the view and watching sea turtles from our lanai, but sorry that you found the living room furniture uncomfortable. We recently replaced our sofa bed with a Punee (Hawaiian daybed) to minimize the stains caused by guests not washing off their suntan lotion before sitting on the furniture, the last upholstery job having only lasted 1.5 years. The Punee is admittedly a little less comfortable than what we had before, but we expect that we won't have to reupholster it as often now. I also apologize for the fact that we only had one beach chair as we would normally have two, but unfortunately we find that they aren't always returned to the unit. As to boogie boards, I'm afraid that's something that we decline to provide for liability reasons, which is actually also why we don't stock spices and cooking oil. So while we would be happy to have you to stay in our unit again in the future, we hope that you will understand the limitations of what we can provide for such affordable rates.   We stayed at this unit 5-25 through 6-1-16. The only contact with the property management was during the check in and check out process, short and pleasant exactly what was needed.
  The unit itself was everything we needed for a week stay on the island.
  The lanai had the most wonderful ocean view, we spent a couple nights just watching the sun set with a glass of wine. The kitchen has all the equipment you would possibly need, everything worked well. I made good use of the BBQs several times wether steaks or kabobs of tiger shrimp I picked up from the fish market just a 2 minute walk from the condo.
  The location is right in the middle of West Maui, so if you plan to spend most of your time on this half of the island it is perfect. If not you will spend quite a bit of time driving to the other side.
  We snorkeled right outside the condo and while it was pretty decent, the bays and the beaches 10-15 minutes to the north and south were fabulous.
  Overall loved our time here and would not hesitate to come back.

You'll often find them foraging in the surf in front of our property, but it's a rare treat for them to haul themselves out on the beach for a little sun, although it seems to have become much more common of late. They're much more comfortable than the sleeper sofa that one usually finds in one bedroom units for the guests sleeping in the living room.   When we walked in the first thing we saw was the incredible view. My husband wanted to stay on the water and this was right on the water. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was so cozy in the room and I can't say enough about the Murphy beds. So convenient and my son said comfortable. We could hear the waves all night. We stopped at Costco on our way to the condo and grabbed breakfast and lunch items. It was nice being able to sit out and eat on the lanai. There is also a little farmers market store across the street that we got chips and guacamole and other muchies. Bad *** Coffee was there as well. We walked to get coffee every morning. The lady working there was the best! There was a small beach for swimming but the water was really rough while we were there. We couldn't really snorkel. We talked to a couple of the owners that were there, very nice people. The laundry facility was great. The pool was awesome. Great location. Property managers were great to work with. Definitely a quiet place to come and relax.

  This is our fifth time staying at the Hale Kai. We have stayed in different units depending on how many people are in our party. Excellent oceanfront location, really enjoy having the pool and ocean to choose from in which to swim. The people who stay here are really friendly and it's nice to chat with other guests. Can get a little noisy in the morning on Lower Honoapiilani Road but it just makes you get up earlier to enjoy being in paradise! Convenient to be able to borrow beach chairs, boogie boards, and a cooler if they are there in the laundry room (sometimes other guests are using them already). We would definitely stay here again and in fact, I would love to buy one of the units. Trying to talk my husband into it! An added bonus is the honu (green sea turtles) that are right out in front of the pool on most mornings/evenings. Valerie (in the office) is really helpful with suggestions if you need them for local spots (shopping, eating places, etc.).Mahalo for another wonderful stay and we look forward to returning again and again!

  The view and location could not be beat. In a great area, in between the downtown Lahaina area and a bunch of great restaurants and beaches North of the condo. Only negative was that there was no air conditioning. This probably isn't an issue any other time of the year but it was unseasonably hot and lacking the usual trade winds. Very satisfied with everything else about our stay and the property.

  We love the location of Hale Kai, directly next door to a park and across the street from the health food grocery store. I walked over almost every morning to get my triple P smoothie. The condo is perfect for two gals needs. Comfy murphy bed in the living room and king in master. It's a small unit but fine for our needs and we enjoyed the close ocean front proximity. It was really hot during our stay so without a/c it may not be as comfy for some people when the trade winds are not blowing but we timed our days to return late enough that the sun was not directly on us. There is a shade you can pull down on the lanai to help keep the sun out though. Although the pool wasn't heated, it was perfect temperature during those hot days. Turtles feed on the reef in front of wall which is way cool! We wouldn't hesitate to return to Hale Kai although maybe during a cooler time of year!

  Words cannot express enough the amazing experience my family had this past week at the Hale Kai. The room was exactly as it was described, furnished beautifully, and the views were ridiculous. We went to sleep every night with the lanai open...lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean and cool ocean breeze. The pool was refreshing and the small private beach allowed for snorkeling without ever leaving the property. We saw turtles EVERYDAY munching on seaweed off of the reef in front. This was my third time to Maui, but first time at the Hale Kai. I can honestly say that this trip was by far the best. I am already trying to figure out how I can book this same week next year!     Isn't it amazing to be so close to the marine life! One can find sea turtles directly in front of the property year round, which can be seen right from our lanai or even up close while taking a swim, (being careful of course not to touch them). One might also find monk seals on occasion taking a snooze in the park next door, and spot spinner dolphins and humpback whales, (during the winter months), right offshore.   Hale Kai was the perfect spot to call Home as we enjoyed our first experience in Maui. We chose the island for our 50th Wedding Anniversary trip ..... Hawaii 50.
  Our condo unit was everything we hoped it would be. A place to relax after a day of touring and sightseeing.   After 12 years coming to Hale Kai and bringing dozens of friends we expect more. We expect if we pay for 3 people in a unit that it has the beds made up for 3 people, towels for three people and the unit particularly clean. Even though we have come for so long, no special care is taken to ensure our unit is prepped properly. We had to make up one of the single beds ourselves and track down enough beach and bathroom towels for all of us. We have sent dozens of people to Hale Kai and now two friends come with us each year (last 5 years). We've never even received a thank you for that. It's an awesome place but it could be run much better. Also the units should be far cleaner. The cleaning during our three week stay was a joke and the unit was not clean when we arrived. We spend A LOT of money there. We'd expect to be treated as a special guest and thanks provided when thanks are deserved.

I'm sorry you feel that the unit wasn't adequately prepared for your arrival. I wish you had notified the office, as one call and the situation would have been quickly remedied. I also wish you had completed the check-in and check-out forms, as these are our quality assurance mechanisms for making sure that our guests are satisfied with the condition of their unit upon arrival and that they have enjoyed their stay. The former in particular is prepared and signed by our rental office personnel upon inspecting the unit and finding it ready for our guests' enjoyment. Hearing about your dissatisfaction with the arrival condition after you left unfortunately leaves us unable to do anything about it. Try as we may, I think that there may be guests that we will never satisfy. If you're as dissatisfied with Hale Kai as you sound based on your reviews the last two years, I wonder if it's time that you considered staying at another property. You may discover something much more to your liking, or you may find that what we offer isn't so bad after all. Fortunately, we have many guests that based on their reviews find our unit and Hale Kai overall to be exactly what they're looking for, so I don't think we'll have any trouble finding someone else to enjoy our unit in the interim.   We found the perfect fit for a girls getaway to Maui with our Hale Kai rental #213. I knew I wanted to stay in Honokaui area and find an affordable rental for us gals on a budget but really didn't want to flip a coin to see who gets the bedroom and who gets a hide-a-bed. I then came across a ocean front condo unit that included the option of a murphy bed (with nice new comfy mattress I might add) and I knew this was it. All newly remodeled with a vaulted ceiling, and beautiful kitchen, the rental had everything we needed. We moved the coffee table aside and had enough room for us to practice yoga nearly every morning. It was quite warm mid Sept and at first was hesitant to rent a condo without air conditioning but the unit has several fans and when we moved to a condo down in Kihei for our last few nights we immediately ran over to turn off the a/c. It was too cold and too noisy, we knew then we had quickly acclimated to the tropical Maui climate. I've stayed in about 6 condos in this area in the past and would not hesitate to return to Hale Kai #213!

  My wife, daughter and I stayed at Hale Kai #213 a couple weeks ago. We were so very pleased with the unit, as well as the property as a whole. The unit was very clean, updated, well positioned on the property with a wonderful ocean facing view. Our daughter slept easily on one of the 2 murphy beds in the living room. This feature was excellent as we could easily return the bed to upright during the day and use the living room when needed. The bedroom my wife and I slept in was very comfortable and spacious.
  
  The lanai was our special place each evening to relax after active days enjoying the surrounding area's offerings. From the lanai we could sit and look at island of Lana'i, the stretch of ocean in between, and we even saw sea turtles and spinner dolphins. After enjoying the incredible sunset each night (directly visible from the lanai) we would watch the stars come out 1 by 1 until the sky was full. We miss the routine so much already.
  
  We also enjoyed meeting the friendly and welcoming residents of the property. We learned about and participated in the daily conch shell horn blowing ceremony at sunset.
  
  The closeness of the property to Lahaina was very convenient to quickly drive to the venues for snorkeling, surfing, and dinner cruise excursions. The surrounding neighborhood was also great, with an organic market, coffee shop, water sports equipment rental, awesome restaurants, and an excellent beach park. So many things to see & do that were so close!
  
  Our Maui experience was so much better as a result of staying at Hale Kai, and we would eagerly recommend it to our friends and family. We already plan on staying there for our next Hawaiian vacation.

  My wife and I spent a fantastic week in early June in this exceptional unit. Unit #213 is wonderful. A lot of work has been put into the upkeep and it shows. Great comfortable king bed, clean modern kitchen with excellent appliances, updated bathroom, great living space with flat screen TV and I-pod docking station, and a lanai with spectacular view of ocean and Molokai. The quiet and less crowded pace is what really attracts us to the Hale Kai. Park right in front of your unit (no parking fees); walk across the street to local grocery; easy drive to Lahaina or Kahana; well maintained swimming pool; amazing sunsets; and friendly people. Are you kidding me.... we will be back.

  This was my second time to Maui and my second time staying on the West side. This resort and in particular condo number 213 was exactly as its described online and an absolute wonderfull place to stay. The condo was remodeled in 2010 and was done beautifully. The resort is clean and allways being washed or updated in some way. The grounds staff were out working every day on something to maintain the high level of neatness and overall look of the property. The owner of my condo was very concerned that ors stay was plesent and that all items in the condo was functioning as it should. He could not have been more informative and helpfull. The resort is low key and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. We would stay there again and again. The absolute only thing we had a problem with is the Cal King bed was very soft and by the end of the week was bothering our backs. Be aware that my girlfriend and I are both stomach sleepers.

We were also just there last month and didn't notice it being too soft, although I guess people's preferences can be very subjective in that regard.   After getting married in Oahu, unit #213 was a perfect place to spend our honeymoon. The view was breathtaking when we first opened the door to the unit and looked out the lanai window. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the local food market and coffee shop. Walking distance to everything you need including yummy fish tacos down the street and gelato. It was great to have a park next door to throw around a frisbee. Skip the hustle and bustle of the other resorts in the area and book this quiet and intimate gem! We would definitely book this unit again in the future and hope be back to Hake Kai again!

  Loved the location, proximity to the ocean and beaches, kitchen, BBQ, laundry availability... all excellent. Views could not be better, sunsets and conch-blowing were a highlight each evening. Valerie was wonderful to work with and the property was extremely well-maintained. Thanks for a great stay - we look forward to returning!

As it happens, we're enjoying our unit right now ourselves and the sunsets between Lanai and Molokai have been magnificent as usual, and the conch-blowing good fun too! Having an onsite Rental Manager is of course very convenient for our guests, but we feel that having someone as special as Valerie in this position is just another factor that distinguishes Hale Kai from other properties.

  This property is a great way to "go local" without scrimping on the luxuries of home. We chose this property because we are anti resort people who wanted a low key experience. This unit has great upgrades and a view to die for. Neither of us have ever stayed in a unit that was this close to the water. We have a one year old and it was no trouble renting a crib from a local company and accommodating his sleep needs. There is no air conditioning, so it took us a bit to learn how to take advantage of the winds, but it can actually be quite comfortable once you get the hang of that. My only complaint is that the modern cable style of the railing on the lanai is not safe for children- especially babies. We had to keep our son away from the edge of the lanai at all times- he could easily pass through the cables if left alone. This is not the fault of this unit- the whole complex has this style. I think this unit is probably the best on this property if you consider all of the upgrades, the tasteful decor and the special touches considered by the owner. We would love to come back one day- we made a lot of special memories here as a family.

    Thank you for staying with us and sharing your feedback, especially regarding the decor of which we are quite proud. We're thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. You're right, if someone is looking for the resort experience, our property probably won't fill the bill. However, if they're looking for a beautiful setting without the high prices and noise associated with a resort, then our low-key property is probably just for them. The stainless-steel cable railings on our lanai that you mentioned were just installed in the last year to bring the railings up to current code. While the greater visibility that they afford may give the impression that a child could pass through them, please be assured that the distance between the cables conforms to standards that are designed to prevent such an occurrence. That said, I would still recommend against leaving a toddler unattended there. A place that you'll want to return to again and again is exactly what we aim to provide, so we'll hope to host you again in the future, perhaps when your son is old enough to utlize one of the murphy beds in the living room.
